Applications are invited for a Temporary post of a Senior Executive Assistant - Payroll within UCD Finance Office

The Finance Office wishes to recruit experienced payroll administrators to join the University's Payroll team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the successful candidate will have substantial relevant experience working with the CORE payroll package COREPAY (or other similar package) and in the operation of a large-scale computerised payroll. Detailed knowledge of PAYE/PRSI/USC and all statutory deductions is required. The Payroll Office has recently migrated to COREPAY version 16 to 27 and migrated to SMARTPAYE in January 2019.

Candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to prepare payroll runs to completion stage. Skills required include numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail. Candidates will be expected to have advanced excel and word skills and should be capable of working in a demanding and busy environment. The ability to answer technical tax queries from staff members will also be a key requirement for the successful candidate. Candidates should be capable of working on their own initiative and dealing with confidential information in a discrete and responsible manner. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and team-working skills.

95 Senior Executive Assistant 2010 (2013) Salary Scale: 42,423- 52,106 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
