Join the Centre for Comparative Labour Law and Social Security (COMPTRASEC) at the Department of Law and Social Transformations at the University of Bordeaux!
COMPTRASEC is a joint research unit (CNRS) partner of several other research and study centres at the national and international levels.
The research priorities concern, on the one hand, the conditions of social citizenship on the other hand, the spaces of social citizenship.
The EU-funded Care4Care project aims to study in a comparative and multidisciplinary perspective the working conditions of carers and their perception of their working environment and dynamics in six EU Member States (France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain and Sweden) to develop appropriate tools to improve the quality of employment and combat discrimination in the sector.
In this context, we are hiring a Research Engineer in Social Law specialized in immigration law and/or discrimination part-time work.
Main activities :
Your main mission is to contribute to the study carried out by a consortium of 10 partners in 6 European Union countries.
As a research engineer lawyer, your activities are divided into several areas:
- You carry out a state-of-the-art review of the legal framework for working conditions and living conditions of home care workers
- You prepare and organize consultation meeting with the actors of the Consortium
- You take notes of the meeting
- You prepare and contribute to the writing of interim research reports
