Professor Kaisa Snellman seeks a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow at INSEAD s campus in France starting September 2023. The Postdoctoral Fellow will join in the ongoing research of Professor Snellman and collaborators on Workplace Inequality. This work covers varies ways in which different social and organizational processes contribute to key outcomes such as hiring, turnover, promotion, and compensation of employees. We tackle these questions in different empirical settings using different methods, including analyses of large archival datasets, lab experiments, and field experiments. Our current projects examine gender inequality in academia, Hollywood film industry, and entrepreneurship.
The ideal candidate for this Postdoctoral Fellow will be a recent PhD graduate or a doctoral candidate who is close to defending his/her dissertation with a deep interest in this domain. The main tasks will include taking on a "lab manager" role to coordinate ongoing field experimental work, as well as programming, data analyses, visualization, and synthesis of academic literature.
