The National Institute for Lasers, Plasma and Radiation Physics has an open position for a research assistant/scientific researcher with formation in materials science engineering, robotics engineering or physics. The employment period will be full time from April 2023 April 2024 with possibility of prolongation. The selected candidate will work with high power laser sources, processing machines and robots in order to deposit by additive manufacturing metal matrix composite materials. The project aims to synthesize composites in situ by Laser Melting Deposition and to produce parts from such materials using generative design engineering solutions
