The Dickson Poon School of Law is recruiting a new Senior Programme Officer (SPO) to join our Partnerships, Professional & Executive Education team and support the running of our executive short courses and professional postgraduate programmes. This is an exciting opportunity for people interested in pursuing a career or taking their next step in Higher Education administration.

The SPO will be responsible for providing a seamless, professional and efficient customer experience to everyone who interacts with the Partnerships, Professional & Executive Education team via our courses. The SPO will ensure all aspects of a course are in place, liaising with multiple stakeholders to do this in a timely and efficient way. They will provide essential support to students, academics, external contributors and participants, and wider colleagues.

Working in a fast-paced environment, the SPO will support executive short courses, summer schools, conferences, and international partnerships. They will lead on communicating with participants on courses and ensuring they have a positive experience of the Law School. As part of the King’s community, you’ll work alongside inspiring academic and professional services staff and students. You will have opportunities to enhance your project management and stakeholder management skills and further develop your knowledge of relevant regulations.

This role is responsible to Senior Programme Manager (Partnerships, Professional & Executive Education).  The team leads the School’s growing executive education and short course portfolio, and the SPO will have a key role in supporting this expanding portfolio and helping to define and lead on specific areas or projects. The postholder will also support our professional postgraduate programme delivery during peak times, for example with admissions, enrolment, induction, and weekend seminars.

Due to the nature of our courses, some evening and weekend work will be required for which time in lieu will be given.

This role will be based at our Strand Campus. Further information about the Law School can be found here   www.kcl.ac.uk/schools/index-new.aspx

This is an indefinite contract.

This is a full-time post.
