The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administration, Masaryk University, invites applications for the following position: 

Lecturer in Human Resource Management  

The Department of Business Management at Masaryk University is looking for a highly motivated, experienced part-time (20 hours a week) Lecturer. The successful candidate should have a business experience in a senior position in human resource management or in a managerial position. The lecturer will participate in the teaching of Human Resource Management-related courses, supervise bachelor and master theses, and help to meet the social role of the university (e.g., cooperation with businesses, popularisation of professional topics). 

What does the position entail?  

  • participation in teaching bachelor and master courses in the Business Management program with a workload of 7 - 9 hours per week,  
  • supervision of bachelor and master theses,  
  • active collaboration with other members of the department, 
  • developing cooperation with both local and international companies, 
  • participating in the popularisation activities for public, 
  • participating in applied research projects. 

What do we require?  

  • Master degree in the field of Business Administration, Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Psychology, or a related field, 
  • at least five years of business experience in a senior position in human resource management or in a managerial position, 
  • experience with lecturing and tutoring, 
  • ability to lecture and communicate in the English language (native speaker or at least C1 level), 
  • interest in staying at the faculty for at least 3 years, 
  • the starting date of the contract is September 1st, 2023.
