Job Description
A research engineer position opening for the project involved in the development of next-generation medical wearable electronics with a human-centric approach. The project aims to develop tissue-mimetic electronics skin for monitoring and tracking chronic diseases. Our laboratory website is https://www.lab-liu.com/.
We are seeking to recruit a research engineer to
- Assisting the PI in the management of the research group and its activities
- Preparation of publications and managing other forms of research output
- Assisting the PI in setting up a laboratory and essential equipment
- Assisting with purchasing of laboratory equipment and consumables
- Conduct research activities in bioelectronics area
Qualifications
- Possess at least a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, material science, electrical engineering, biology or related field
- Demonstrated excellence in one of the following areas is required: simple electrical/electrochemical knowledge, medical device, material development, basic knowledge of biomedical engineering
- Responsible and able to work independently
- Prior experience in managing project, laboratory or research funding is advantageous
- Excellent written and spoken communication
- Open to fixed-term contract
