Research Engineer, Bioelectronics and Wearable Research 1

Job Description

A research engineer position opening for the project involved in the development of next-generation medical wearable electronics with a human-centric approach. The project aims to develop tissue-mimetic electronics skin for monitoring and tracking chronic diseases. Our laboratory website is https://www.lab-liu.com/.

We are seeking to recruit a research engineer to

  1. Assisting the PI in the management of the research group and its activities
  2. Preparation of publications and managing other forms of research output
  3. Assisting the PI in setting up a laboratory and essential equipment
  4. Assisting with purchasing of laboratory equipment and consumables
  5. Conduct research activities in bioelectronics area

Qualifications

  • Possess at least a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, material science, electrical engineering, biology or related field  
  • Demonstrated excellence in one of the following areas is required: simple electrical/electrochemical knowledge, medical device, material development, basic knowledge of biomedical engineering
  • Responsible and able to work independently  
  • Prior experience in managing project, laboratory or research funding is advantageous
  • Excellent written and spoken communication
  • Open to fixed-term contract
