Job Description
The South Asia Studies programme at the National University of Singapore (NUS) seeks to hire a full-time Teaching Assistant. Candidates must possess a passion for teaching and at least a Master’s Degree. The position is for the duration of two academic semesters (renewable subject to performance review) commencing in July 2023.
The successful applicant will be expected to give lectures and assist in teaching undergraduate tutorials and class management. Teaching Assistants will also be required to handle other areas related to undergraduate teaching including consultations with students, grading assignments, collating marks, and undergraduate paper supervision. Teaching Assistants will also be required to hold regular office hours and assist with departmental activities where needed.
