The Director of Academic Services and Academic Registrar has overall responsibility for all aspects of student and academic administration at the University. Working closely with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), and as a trusted advisor to the Vice-Chancellor, they will lead a team of over 100 staff across the four key domains of Admissions and Scholarships, Student Lifecycle Management, Policy and Integrity, and Information and Enhancement.

Able to reflect on a career across academic and student administration, candidates will demonstrate the ability to interpret complex Higher Education policy and governance, whilst quickly commanding the respect of academic and professional colleagues for being fair, equitable and consistent. Candidates will also exhibit an appropriate record of senior education leadership and management experience commensurate with being part of a high performing university leadership team. Outstanding communication skills and an objective approach to decision making are essential, as is the ability to influence, inspire, and exercise sound and consistent judgment in a dynamic environment.
