Job Description
A position for a Research Assistant is available in the Department of Architectural Engineering at the College of Engineering, United Arab Emirates University. The research focuses on climate change and outdoor thermal comfort. In particular, the research will investigate several parameters linked to climate change that impact OTC in order to improve adaptation to external climate conditions in UAE. The research will also explore the possibility of utilizing materials in order to positively improve Outdoor Thermal Comfort and reduce surface temperature.
Minimum Qualification
An appropriate educational degree supplemented with documented evidence to support the following:
- Skilled in writing/editing manuscripts in Top Journals
- Ability to investigate the climate change parameters
- Good technical writing skills
- Flexible approach and initiative in executing the role.
Preferred Qualification
- Ability to work in teams
- Ability to follow journal publication process
- Demonstrable willingness to support work in the lab
- Be adaptable and flexible to the continuous changes associated with research demands
