The Position
This is a key role for an experienced Software Specialist. The successful candidate will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of software systems for approved RSAA technical programs and activities.
The Person
We are looking for qualified (a relevant degree (such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, Mathematics) or progress towards postgraduate qualifications) Software Specialists with experience in implementation, production and testing of software systems in a scientific environment, and experience with modern software development methodologies. You will be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to quickly develop productive, professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Highly developed organisational skills and effective self-management are key.
