The Research Laboratory of Prof. Serdal Kirmizialtin, in the Division of Science at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), and Prof. Mark Tuckerman, in the Chemistry Department at New York University New York (NYUNY), seeks to appoint a talented researcher with an excellent record of academic success for a Post-Doctoral Associate position. The research will focus on a joint project on the development and use of machine learning and advanced molecular dynamics techniques to study RNA structural ensemble. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, or related field, with extensive experience in the application of molecular dynamics simulations to molecular systems, ideally in both methods and applications. An ideal candidate will have a solid background in physics and chemistry, particularly in the area of statistical mechanics. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge resources in a collaborative research environment between the campuses of New York University. 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are preferred. Experience with modern sampling techniques, good computer programming skills, and working knowledge of UNIX, phyton, and shell scripting is highly desired. Experience in PLUMED will be very valuable.
