About the position
This position collaborates with allied health and specialist education staff to develop a curriculum responsive to each child's needs. In addition, this position supports with developing and implementing a curriculum that incorporates each child's needs and individual intervention goals. This position is trained in the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a play-based early intervention model and in engaging with families to support their needs. Fantastic opportunity for an educator who is committed to inclusive practice, supporting autistic children and to collaborative practice.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have;
- A Bachelor level qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care with 5+ years relevant work-related experience.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Quality, appropriateness, and timeliness of advice in response to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn, including ongoing professional development to support each child’s early intervention program and development
