Applications are invited for a temporary post of a UCD Research Fellow within UCD School of Medicine/Systems Biology Ireland
University College Dublin (UCD) is seeking applications for a Research Fellow position to work on development of mass spectrometry (MS)-based proteomics at Systems Biology Ireland (SBI). Proteomics is one of the main high throughput technologies used in systems biology approaches and with rapid development in this field, a Research Fellow is required to adapt techniques, improve work-flows and enhance use of the existing infrastructure.
The Research Fellow will be contributing to the development of digital cancer twin models that allow for the design of personalized and less toxic treatments. This project will rely heavily on reliable and reproducible proteomics data analysis. The successful applicant will be part of the Kolch Group at SBI ( https://www.ucd.ie/sbi/team/groups/kolchgroup/ which has close collaborations with a wide range of clinics, industry and other academic organisations. The Research Fellow will work closely with other proteomics specialists, in addition to computational modellers, experimentalists and clinical/research students.
Research Fellow Salary Range: 60,412 - 65,828
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
