Applications are invited for a temporary post of a UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 within UCD School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering

As part of a larger programme by Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) aiming to exploit mixed-signal integrated-circuits (IC) electronics for emerging applications, this project aims to investigate time-domain and digitally intensive IC design approaches to promote new bleeding-edge circuit, architecture and system level innovations in the application area of 5G/6G communications and sensing radars, especially using a massive multiple-input/multiple-output (MIMO) approach.

The successful candidate will help with hiring and then leading an interdisciplinary team of CMOS circuit designers for high-performance mm-wave frequency synthesizers, transmitters and receivers.
