About the team
The Discipline of Accounting & Finance in the Business School offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses as well as research-based doctoral degrees. The students rank amongst the brightest in Australia, as measured by Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR). Academics in the Discipline deliver high quality teaching and conduct high quality research.
About the opportunity
As the appointee you will under the supervision of the Head of Department, be expected to make a contribution to teaching and service within the School and University in line with the expectations of Business School academic staff Business School : The University of Western Australia (uwa.edu.au)
About you
Teaching in areas of Accounting/Finance, specifically financial accounting and corporate finance Ability to teach ESG and data analytics would be an advantage Contribute to high quality teaching and learning, particularly online learning Development of high quality teaching materials for both online and face-to-face teaching Involved in academic and professional activities and in discipline policy development and administrative matters Other duties as required
To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:
- PhD or an equivalent relevant field
- Demonstrated a personal contribution and commitment to high quality teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate programs
- Demonstrated ability to teach and possess relevant experience in teaching topics related to ESG reporting, data analytics and corporate finance
- Knowledge in school policy development and administrative matters
