About the Role

The Vocational Education department at Swinburne University of Technology is looking for an AMEP/SEE Admin Officer to work within Migration and General Education.

Swinburne’s Vocational Education has five departments which offer vocational programs at post-graduate, advanced diploma, diploma, certificate, and basic vocational levels. The Admin Officer will be responsible for timely and effective administration support for project/programs managed within the department. The successful application will have experience with project support and be able to provide this support in accordance with university policy and procedures.

Part of this role will also involve working with other project/program staff to ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes and ensure all AMEP and SEE data is gathered and entered according to contract guidelines and provide other administrative support as required.

About You

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

  • Demonstrated relevant experience in the provision of quality administrative and support services within a demanding, client focused environment
  • High level organizational skills, including the ability to plan and prioritise multiple tasks to tight deadlines while ensuring data accuracy
  • Ability to communicate across cultures, and with staff at all levels of an organisation
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide advice and support internal/external stakeholders, and maintain confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Completion of an associate Diploma level qualification with relevant work related experience or a Certificate level qualification with post-certificate relevant work experience or; an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
