A culturally rich university with a strong commitment to the public good, it strives to maintain a stimulating, innovative and inclusive environment where staff and students are able to thrive.

This is a really exciting time to join us. The Marketing and Communications team at DMU is growing, and this newly created role will be a key member of the Directorate’s senior leadership team.

The Head of Engagement Communications will lead strategic engagement communications across all the key university audiences, including staff, prospective and current students, and external stakeholders. Leading the Engagement Communications team, you will develop and deliver highly effective and innovative campaigns, using a range of media, and all aligned with the university’s strategic ambitions. The Head of Engagement Communications will also head up the university’s social media strategy and delivery.

To be successful, you will have a demonstrable track record of delivering cutting-edge communication campaigns to influence a wide range of audiences. With a proven ability to influence and persuade at all levels within an organisation, you will have knowledge of communications strategies, concepts and practices and excellent track record of achievement across a wide range of projects and campaigns.
