The University of East London (UEL) has been pioneering futures since 1898: from the 2nd Industrial Revolution through to where we are now, the 4th. We are a careers-led university, dedicated to supporting our students to develop the skills, emotional intelligence and creativity needed to thrive in a constantly changing world.

Having experienced substantial growth in recent years, the School of Health, Sport & Bioscience currently has 4 departments with a range of professional programmes, and we are now seeking to appoint to a Head of Department for Nursing and Midwifery (AQ1749).

Having invested in cutting-edge, innovative, interprofessional practice and technologies to enhance the career-focused learning of students in the school, we are ambitious for our future and that our students. The Nursing programmes at UEL have grown dynamically over the past few years for Pre-registration Nursing, the role of the Nursing Associate and the development of Apprenticeship pathways. This is a very exciting time to join an enthusiastic team of academics who are able to shape and influence the development of the growing UEL nursing provision.
