Job Description

Taipei Medical University is looking for a motivated member with Ph.D. degree with outstanding academic achievements in the field relating to Life Science or Biomedical or a directly related discipline, who will contribute to our international research profile in a cross-disciplinary environment. The new appointee will be based at the Neuroscience Research Center at Taipei Medical University.

Salary & Benefit

74,685NTD~ $104,180NTD per month + benefits (Equivalent to Assistant, Associate, or Full professor) Promotion encouraging system as faculty

Selection Criteria Qualifications

1. Ph.D. degree with outstanding academic achievements in the field relating to Life Science or Biomedical, or a directly related discipline
2. A successful candidate will have Life Science or Biomedical background and specialized in neurodegenerative disease such as ALS and FTLD, and epigenetics research such as miRNAs and DNA methylation
3. Preference will be given to candidates with experiences in medical image analysis or artificial neural network; conducting large projects and work in interdisciplinary contexts outside statistics and demonstrate a proven track record of high-profile publications
4. Demonstrated ability to apply for research grants, research experiences in conducting large projects, in writing research projects, and independent research will be advantageous
5. Passion for research and talent cultivation
6. Exhibits great communication skills, teamwork ability, and capacities in international exchange and cooperation
7. Excellent English proficiency and research enthusiasm, good communication with well-developed interpersonal skills
