Job Details
As part of our commitment to the continued expansion of medical, pharmaceutical and health sciences at Bangor University, the School of Medical and Health Sciences seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Health Economics to contribute to research and teaching activities. Applications are invited from candidates with a PhD in health economics or in a related discipline (with relevant experience in health economics).
The post-holder will join the Centre for Health Economics and Medicines Evaluation (CHEME), to help drive the vision of CHEME to be the pre-eminent centre for health economics. The post-holder will be involved in the delivery of modules in the pharmacology and pharmacy degree programmes and to supervise MScRes students in health economics / pharmacoeconomics.
The post is full-time and permanent, and the successful candidate will be expected to commence as soon as practical. Part time or Job Share applications will also be considered.
This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
