The Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence (ESCoE) has been granted a further five years of core funding from the Office for National Statistics (ONS). Now to be hosted at Kings Business School, King’s College London, we are looking for an Events and Office Coordinator to join the Centre at this exciting time.

ESCoE is an independent research centre established in 2017.  It is the first-ever dedicated academic centre of expertise for the analysis of emerging and future issues in measuring the modern economy in the UK and one of just a few around the world. The Centre will be hosted at King’s Business School, King’s College London, from April 2023 and will be delivered in close collaboration with its many partner institutions, including the University of Cambridge, Institute for Fiscal Studies, Nesta, University of New South Wales, University of Nottingham and University of Strathclyde.

The Events and Office Coordinator provides support to the Centre Directors in relation to all the main areas of the Centre's work. Primary responsibilities are providing support for the delivery of all ESCoE events and the day-to-day administration of Centre activities, including meeting scheduling and committee support, managing the ESCoE email accounts, editorial support for the ESCoE publication series, managing the ESCoE contact lists and instigating and maintaining accurate and effective administrative systems.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills and be able to work accurately under pressure. They will be happy to work independently, while also being a key team member.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 5 years.

This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent
