Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Arts Centre (UAC) and has operational responsibility for centre wide services which cover the areas of media management, brand and marketing, communications, public relations, and event management.

The candidate needs to:

  1. Love Arts and have a strong will to work in the University.
  2. Work closely with other teams and programmes to develop and implement marketing & communication plans to achieve goals and objectives of the centre;
  3. Build and maintain strong and engaging relationships with both internal and external stakeholders;
  4. Responsible for creation of key messaging, content creation and identify new opportunities to promote the centre and expand audience outreach through new media, partnerships, events, etc.;
  5. Manage relevant marketing channels, audit all contents published and work on trend research and competitive analysis to support strategic decisions to optimize on opportunities;
  6. Plan and execute events;
  7. Undertake other work assigned by superiors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

The PR and Communications team focuses on promoting the University Arts Centre and delivering outstanding internal and external communications. The candidate needs to have experience across marketing & communications disciplines and be able to deliver outcomes whilst working in a dynamic environment.

  1. A Master’s degree in Marketing & Communication or English;
  2. 1-3 years plus experience in a marketing and communications role in the arts field;
  3. Exceptional leadership skills, with proven experience in team management, delivering communications, marketing and new media management;
  4. Collaborative, proactive, strong sense of responsibility, can easily navigate conflicting priorities, build strong relationships, and bring the team and stakeholders together around a shared purpose;
  5. Excellent bilingual communication skills in Chinese and English, both spoken and written.

Salary and Benefits

Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
