Job Description
Applications are invited for a Research Assistant position at the National University of Singapore in the MoE Tier 3 grant "Automated Program Repair". The job holder will get experience in working in tools to enhance software security and will thus be able to acquire a strong profile in software engineering and software security. The aim is to build and unify tools which automatically repair security vulnerabilities in software. See
Responsibilities:
The research group already has many tools for this purpose built over a decade. The person hired will act as an engineer to create a professional infra-structure out of these tools, which is maintainable and sustainable. The research group is also planning to administer a worldwide competition of program repair tools, and the engineer will work with a team of researchers to run this competition. This would give an extra edge in the experience gained by the person hired.
Salary: Negotiable based on qualifications and experience relevant to the job.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field with strong evidence of software engineering skills
