Candidate requirements:

• Ph.D. in ethnology
• native speaker of Mongolian is an advantage
• active knowledge of Classical Mongolian script
• knowledge of English proved by own publications
• more years of stay at academic institution(s) in Europe/USA
• at least 2 years of work at academic institution(s) in Mongolia
• active contacts with academic institutions in Mongolia
• 5 years of experience with fieldwork and research of oral sources
• ability of independent managing of own fieldwork
• longterm focus on particular area of Mongolia
• expercience with archive research in Mongolia
• experience with a position of head/vice-head/manager at any academic institution is an advantage
• at least 2 published monographs

General duties:

• independent academic research in the Czech Republic and ability to relocate to Czech Republic
• regular fieldwork and research of oral history in Mongolia
• individual and collective publication activities
• presentation of research at international conferences
• other activities according to the needs of project and workplace
