Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow (PDF) in Quantitative Remote Sensing in the Department of Geography (3 posts) (Ref.: 519399), to commence as soon as possible, on a one- to three-year temporary basis,  with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in geography, environmental sciences, artificial intelligence, computer science or a related discipline. They should demonstrate  (i) knowledge and practical experience in quantitative remote sensing; (ii) computer programming skills and knowledge of machine learning methods for spatial-temporal modelling; and (iii) a strong track record of high-quality research as indicated by publications.

The appointees will work with a strong research group with multiple members of research assistant professor, postdoctoral fellow and graduate student, help supervise junior research staff and students; and assist in administrative, operational and other duties as assigned.
