Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic invites excellent scientists to apply for a JUNIOR RESEARCH GROUP LEADER in Health Technology Assessment (HTA) with focus on Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs)

Description:

The Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University in Brno is hosting The Central European Advanced Therapy and Immunotherapy Centre (CREATIC), a Horizon Europe Teaming for Excellence centre set up in collaboration with Fraunhofer IZI, University of Leipzig and University of Copenhagen (www.creatic.muni.cz). The CREATIC centre will start in 2023 and will enable a scientific career development of high potential early-career researchers with significant international experience. We are looking for a junior group leader with the expertise in the area of HTA/ pharmacoeconomics with the focus on Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs).

The successful candidate should:

• be a researcher who has received a PhD or its equivalent within the last 7 years,
• be a researcher who has worked at least 2 whole years in the last 3 years outside the territory of the Czech Republic in the field of research with a working time of at least 0.5 full-time equivalent, or who has been PhD student (or equivalent) abroad,
• have a publishing record – in the last 3 years at least 2 publication outputs (“articles”) above the field median listed by the Web of Science with 1 article as first or corresponding author.

Specific criteria:

• have the expertise in the field of Health Technology Assessment,
• have the experience with pharmacoeconomic studies (focus on ATMPs an advantage),
• is familiar with outcome-based models,
• is familiar with ATMP regulatory issues (an advantage),
• have excellent communication skills and teamwork.
