Assistant Lecturer in the School of Chinese Medicine (Ref.: 519190) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess (i) a recognized Bachelor’s degree of a Chinese Medicine registrable with the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong (ii) a Master’s degree or above in Chinese Medicine or related disciplines; (iii) a Certificate of Registration for Chinese Medicine Practitioner in Hong Kong; and (iv) at least 5 years’ post-registration experience in clinical and teaching. Preference will be given to those with higher academic qualifications in Chinese Medicine and teaching experience in tertiary institution(s). Applicants should have strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to work independently and as a team, and be able to multi-task.
The appointee will be responsible for teaching, conducting tutorials, providing demonstrations, coordinating projects and student activities, supporting curriculum design and academic advising, developing teaching materials, etc.
