Executive Officer (PR and Placement), School of Science and Engineering

Post Specification

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate PR affairs of all teams in SSE, develop and implement annual publicity plans to achieve goals of the School;
2. Responsible for multi-media platforms and external publicity materials of the School; audit all content before releasing;
3. Plan and hold lectures, significant events, and meetings;
4. Provide one-on-one counseling on undergraduate students’ career planning;
5. Assist to organize or coordinate career workshops, industry information sessions, company visits and internships;
6. Maintain a good relationship with relevant stakeholders and undertake other work assigned by superiors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. A Bachelor’s degree or above; at least three years of work experience in marketing, communication or other media-related management positions (candidate with lesser experience may be considered for the rank of Executive Assistant);
2. Relevant work experience in higher education, major activities and new media operations is preferred;
3. Sensitive Journalism acumen; Proficiency in basic image processing software;
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese;
5. Good team player with strong organizational planning and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits

Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
