Applications are invited for appointment as Clinical Practitioner in the Department of Pathology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 519118), to commence as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance. 

Applicants should possess a medical qualification registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong.  They should demonstrate proven clinical experience, with a strong interest and commitment to medical teaching, and be able to contribute to the development of academic programs for the Department and the Faculty.  Proven capacity and interest in medical research would be an advantage.  Direct communication with patients is required and the languages employed are English, Cantonese and Putonghua.

The appointee will mainly provide regular clinical services and patient care at the University’s Teaching Hospitals. He/She will engage in undergraduate teaching; support scholarly research activities; and undertake administrative work in the Department, Faculty, and the University. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  The appointments will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
