About the School

About You and the Role
We are seeking a forward-thinking, contemporary, and innovative scholar to take on the role of either Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (academic Level B or C) in Food Science and Nutrition. The purpose of this role is to contribute to teaching and develop high-quality research within the School of Science.
The successful applicant will be involved in a range of academic activities, including the coordination and teaching of subjects in food science and nutrition and related areas within undergraduate and coursework Masters’ programs across the School. The appointee will be expected to conduct research and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate (Masters and PhD) research students in their area of expertise. The appointee will also be expected to be knowledgeable in contemporary methods of teaching food science and nutrition including e-Learning approaches. There will be opportunities for relevant leadership roles in this area.
The appointee will work closely with research and teaching staff in the School of Science and will be encouraged to develop collaborations with other areas as appropriate. Appointees will also be required to foster relevant relationships external to the University, particularly with industry.
The appointee will be based at the Hawkesbury campus, but multi-campus teaching may be required.

Academic Level B - $131,136 to $154,738 p.a. (comprising Salary of $110,811 to $130,846 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
Academic Level C - $159,423 to $182,877 p.a. (comprising Salary of $134,850 to $154,896 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
