Reporting to and working collaboratively with the Board of Governors, the President is committed to Cambrian’s vision to imagine the impossible, to inspire one another, and to innovate in ways we have yet to fully explore. Charged with delivering and enhancing the Colleges Strategic Plan 2020-2025: Further Together, the President embodies the College values of Innovation, Respect, Collaboration and Excellence, while providing executive leadership to the College’s faculty, administration, and support staff to support academic success. The new President will be committed to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Truth and Reconciliation, and Indigenization throughout the institution. 

As a well-qualified candidate, you have several attributes that will be critical or highly desirable in this position, including: Senior executive experience within a complex multi-stakeholder unionized organization, a passion for student success and quality education, the ability to articulate and operationalize an inspiring vision, a strategic approach, superior relationship-building and communications skills, the ability to lead a high performing executive team, experience growing enrolment at all levels, ability to seize opportunities and diversify funding sources, and a track record of success. You are consultative yet decisive, with a high degree of strategic financial management expertise, and embrace innovative approaches. Your open, humble, transparent, and collaborative approach will serve you well in working with students, faculty, staff, executives, alumni, donors, government officials, employers, community stakeholders, and the Board of Governors to achieve mutual goals.
