Short Description
The successful candidate will provide research and administrative support for the following research project “Slowing Workforce Growth in Singapore”. This research project will study the labour issues surrounding slowing workforce growth as a result of population ageing in Singapore. In particular, how the future of work, workplace, and the workforce will be affected by this demographic shift. The project employs both qualitative and quantitative strategies to address these issues.
Job Description
Provide research support
- Conduct literature review
- Assist with the development of interview schedules
- Recruit participants for focus groups and in-depth interviews
- Assist with the running of focus groups and in-depth interviews
- Support both qualitative and quantitative research analyses
- Assist with report writing
Administrative and technical support to research team
- Monitor the project budget and expenses
- Token management
- Any additional project related duties assigned by PI and Co-PIs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s (with Honours) and above in the social or behavioural sciences
- Some prior experience in administrative / research related work is useful
- Good proficiency of English Language (Spoken and Written)
- Proficient with MS Word and Excel
- Some experience with the use of the following software: Qualtrics, SPSS/PSPP, STATA, SAS, and nVivio
