The work will take place at the Institute for Functional Intelligent Materials of the National University of Singapore under the direction of Professors Giovanni Vignale (https://ifim.nus.edu.sg/people/giovanni-vignale/) and Antonio Castro Neto, and will involve a combination of analytical and numerical methods, including developments in non-collinear spin-density functional theory.
Requirements
- PhD in Physics
- A strong background in density functional theory, many-body theory and condensed matter physics
- Experience with numerical implementations of density functional theory
