Applicants are invited for appointment as Senior Lecturer in Landscape Technology, Fabrication and Design in the Division of Landscape Architecture in the Department of Architecture (Ref.: 519143), to commence as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis.
Applicants should posssess a professional degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely-related field and with at least six years’ teaching experience in tertiary institutions. Applicants should demonstrate excellence in teaching and innovation in areas of landscape technology, conventional and advanced fabrication methods, and design subjects. They should also be familiar with curriculum development, academic advising, and programme promotion and admission procedures. Preference will be given to those who demonstrate a track record of scholarship, public engagement, and active development of their teaching practices through grants, conferences, exhibitions, and publications.
The appointee will teach courses in undergraduate and postgraduate levels and assist in the development and enrichment of the Division’s core areas of landscape technology, practice and design.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 15% of basic salary, as well as annual leave and medical benefits. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
