Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Senior Administrator - Admin Support Team within UCD School of Medicine.

The School of Medicine Office, Radiography and Diagnostic Imaging Section requires an Administration Support Team who will report into the Director, School of Medicine Office and/or nominee. A key priority of this team will be to provide dynamic and flexible day-to-day administrative support to programmes provided by the professional discipline of Radiography ensuring the programmes are administered in an effective and professional manner.

The Administration Support Team will provide high level day-to-day administrative expertise to the School, supporting the seamless delivery of academic and student supports in an effective and professional manner. This includes the delivery of a highly flexible, responsive and effective service to students, schools, staff and other key stakeholders to support the collective efforts of the School. The post will operate in an exciting and evolving environment. The appointee will engage in a range of duties and responsibilities to support the successful implementation and operation of the academic and student support service of the new School Team including the new USM when implemented in the University.

Each member of the Administrative Support Team will have a primary area of focus e.g. Marketing & Communications, Research Support, Programme Support, Committee Support, Academic Leadership Support and will have a dotted reporting line to a nominee within their primary area of focus. The Administration Support Team will operate as a team and each member will be expected to carry out admin activities outside the remit of their primary area of focus. This sense of teamwork and collegiality will support a flexible and collaborative environment, enhance the ability to provide cross-coverage for their team members, manage peaks and troughs in workload and facilitate increased sharing of expertise within the team.

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
