About the Information and Digital Services 

Information and Digital Services (IDS) are a pivotal resource of the University, providing information and digital technology services and support to the Flinders University staff and student community. The IDS team apply technical expertise to support university projects and provide core services such as the IDS Service Desk, audio visual, simulation and event services, information security and identity access management services and more.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an entry-level Governance Officer to join the IDS Governance, Innovation and Ways of Working team. In this role, you will work closely with senior leaders, governance committee members and other key stakeholders to learn and gain hands-on experience in IDS governance and supplier/contract management processes and operations.

In this position, you will also:

• Administer, guide and support the day-to-day operations of the IDS governance and supplier/contract management ecosystem
• Collaborate with the IDS Governance, Innovation and Ways of Working team to continuously improve and evolve the IDS governance and supplier/contract management ecosystem

About You

You will have well-developed thinking, planning and analytical skills, and be outcome focussed. You will apply your interpersonal influence to build effective relationships at all levels of the IDS organisation.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• An eagerness to learn and grow, and a passion for making a positive contribution to the success of the team and the whole of IDS
• Strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and organisational skills
• An ability to leverage key collaboration technologies, like Atlassian Confluence and Microsoft Teams, to achieve team and departmental outcomes
