Role Description

We welcome applications from dynamic, self starting and enthusiastic people wishing to join our Purchasing Team to contribute to the efficient management of the University Purchase-to-Pay process.

About the Role

The role of the Procurement Delivery Administrator is to work independently to provide efficient and effective support to the procurement team, assisting with the administration involved around the processing of purchasing goods/services and their related financial activities for the University, ensuring economic and efficient acquisition of goods and services as well as accurate financial recording of commitments.

About You

You will have Maths and English GCSE at grade 6 or 7, CIPS level 3 or an HND or A Level in Business Studies. 3 years’ experience in a busy office and a working knowledge of finance systems such as Agresso would be ideal. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and can organise and prioritise your workload with keen attention to detail.

Procurement and Accounts Payable (A/P) are an integral part of the Finance PSU and hold responsibility for processing of purchasing requirements, management of requisitions, sourcing and ordering of goods and services, creation of purchase orders, expediting and managing delivery, ensuring correct receipting of goods. The role is within the Procurement, Delivery and Compliance Team.
