The Faculty of Engineering & Physical Sciences are seeking applications for a Research and Enterprise Engagement Officer who will join the Faculty Operating Service (FOS) team.

The Research and Enterprise Engagement Officer role will be based in the Faculty Office and will be responsible for supporting the faculty enterprise and research community to enhance their reputation and increase their external profile. This position is part of the Faculty Operating Service and reports directly to the Senior Executive Officer. The role is full time and permanent although applications for 0.8 fte will also be considered.

The role requires a self-motivated and proactive team-player to provide coordination for the promotion of FEPS Research and Enterprise.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in planning and coordinating research and/or enterprise promotional activities .
• The ability to create and review content for external audiences.
• A proven track record of providing high-level strategic support to senior managers, and providing management of operational, planning, and business-critical projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; personal agility and great time management skills 
• The ability to build strong credible relationships with a wide a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
