Job Description

The Department of Mathematics at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a research assistant to study Fourier Series with respect to locally constant orthonormal system to work with Dr. Ushangi Goginava. According to the project objectives, the candidate should have knowledge in real analysis combined with methods of abstract harmonic analysis: Calderon-Zygmund singular integrals, theorems of interpolation and extrapolation, theory of trigonometric, Walsh and Vilenkin series, martingale transforms, ergodic theory, atomic decomposition of the Hardy spaces. Proficiency in English is required (written and oral).

The nominal start date is as soon as possible by 01th February , 2023.

The position is located at the UAEU’s main campus in Al Ain.
