Applications are invited for the post of Director of Marketing within the Principal's Office Senior Staff.
Royal Holloway is looking to appoint a Director of Marketing to lead a directorate that has responsibility for marketing, student recruitment, internal and external communications and alumni relations.
The Directorate has been undergoing reform in response to the College’s strategic plan 2021-24 which places an emphasis on positioning for student recruitment from London and internationally. Projects underway include the contracting of Study Group to run Agent based recruitment for the College, the development of a new admissions system to radically improve service to applicants, and the strengthening of digital techniques for marketing.
The appointed Director will lead the directorate to embed these changes and start new initiatives relevant to the strategic goals of the College. Candidates will need to demonstrate an understanding of modern marketing and communications, leadership ability to engage a substantial team through a time of change and the ability to work with the academic leadership of the University to align the Directorate with the agenda of the College. Experience of creating productive working relationships with senior executives and the governing body is important.
In return we offer a highly competitive rewards and benefits package including:
- Generous annual leave entitlement
- Training and Development opportunities
- Pension Scheme with generous employer contribution
- Various schemes including Cycle to Work, Season Ticket Loans and help with the cost of Eyesight testing.
- Free parking
The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
