Laboratory Introduction
Prof. Zhao has been engaged in the biosynthesis and function of calcium messenger cADPR derived from NAD, and the development of tools for targeting NAD metabolism/signaling as well as neurodegenerative diseases. 40 SCI papers in journals such as PNAS, eLife and Science Signaling has been published.

Job Description
A position for research assistant is now available to research on the mechanism of cellular NAD signaling. We are seeking highly-motivated candidates with independent research capabilities and strong teamwork skills.
Applicants should have:
- A BSc or MSc degree in a relevant research area including but not limited to biology, chemistry and neurology;
- Experience in laboratory is preferred.
Job Duties include:
- Conducting academic research under the guidance of your supervisor;
- Supporting other members of this research group in scientific researches;
- Some admin work.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
Salary will be comparable to international standards, commensurate with experience and accomplishments. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-Shenzhen, and employee benefits will be provided according to the relevant labor laws of Mainland China as well as CUHK-Shenzhen regulations.
