As Deputy Faculty Pro Vice-Chancellor Education you will provide senior strategic oversight supporting the formulation, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Faculty Education Strategy and Faculty Departmental Plans against clearly defined and ambitious goals. You will support the Faculty Pro Vice-Chancellor to enable the Faculty to take advantage of the Faculty’s interdisciplinary nature and drive forward further integration of teaching, research and the student community into being at the cutting edge of innovation in place based education. 

With a PhD or equivalent and strong track record in research and education in a relevant discipline, you will be a self-starting and autonomous individual who pays attention to detail and with a track record of taking accountability for delivery.  You will be passionate about education and bring evidence of creating space for innovative education practice to flourish. 

You will work with colleagues across the Faculty and university to create and develop strategic partnerships and networks to enhance collaboration and work alongside the Faculty Pro Vice-Chancellor, to lead, support, and mentor colleagues towards achieving the vision for the Faculty’s academic departments.
