Dynamic and vibrant, Durham University Business School is one of Durham University's four Faculties and is comprised of four research-intensive departments: Accounting, Economics, Finance, and Management and Marketing. The Department of Management & Marketing at Durham University seeks to appoint a talented individual to the role of Professor. The appointment would join a growing research team of talented individuals working across the full breath of Operations Management. We welcome applications from those with research and teaching interests in the broad field of Operations Management with a strong background in research and a track record in income generation, external engagement and impact. We are particularly eager to hear from applicants with a focus on, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Operations Management
  • Information Systems
  • Technology of Innovation
  • Operations Strategy

We encourage applicants with a strong track record in business engagement including (but not limited to) sectors such as health, transport, government, logistics, finance and supply chain. We are particularly look for applicants with quantitative skills in simulation, optimization, analytics, and modelling.
