The University of Southampton is looking for a Data Coordinator (CRM) to support the management of the implementation, development and adoption of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system across the University in support of its student recruitment and conversion processes.

Using strong communication, project management skills and experience in data analysis and problem solving you will set up filters and logic to enable personalised communications to be sent via the system, including establishing naming conventions and folder structures. These communications form a vital element of our activity to ensure that prospective students get all of the information they need to make an informed choice about where to study.

You will also review, develop and maintain a comprehensive attributes list and build, test, and distribute new email templates, reporting on how any developments improve our outcomes.

It is an exciting time to join our CRM and Enquirer Experience team, as we are in the process of migrating to a new CRM system so you will have the opportunity to become a super-user, working collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues and providing best practice advice and support.

The activity in this role varies from day to day and will require a proactive and organised approach. The team use multiple channels of communication so it would be desirable if you had experience working with either all or some of the current options including, live chat, social media, WhatsApp, email and phones.

For an informal conversation about this role please contact our Team Leader, Nick Jackson: N.J.Jackson@southampton.ac.uk

We are proactive in fostering a culture of inclusion, respect, and equality of opportunity. We select candidates based on merit and ability and aspire to thrive in the diversity of our workforce.  We welcome applications from all candidates with an interest in the role and those who are committed to helping us create an inclusive work environment. We encourage applications from candidates from Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic communities, people who identify as LGBTQ+, and people with disabilities.
