The role

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for a team of Building Managers and Building Supervisors to ensure the effective and seamless delivery of hard and soft facilities within the University buildings. Provide motivation, engagement and support; recognising the contribution that individuals make to the University of Southampton Strategy and encouraging a working culture that promotes a customer-focused, healthy, safe, inclusive and sustainable environment, prioritises people's development and supports smarter ways of working. The role will be based on site, predominantly on our Boldrewood Campus.

About you

You will bring extensive experience in facilities management within the built environment, including soft and hard facilities. You will be able to plan and manage projects and activities applying originality in modifying existing approaches to solve problems. You will be an effective leader and be highly customer focused. You will have strong Stakeholder Management experience to ensure effective engagement at all times along with an ability to analyse and translate user requirements into operational solutions.
