An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive project administrator to join the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences (FEPS) Faculty Operating Service. You will be responsible for the administrative and financial operations of a programme called Transformative Imaging for Quantitative Biology (TIQBio) Partnership within the Molecular Biophotonics Group in the Chemical Biology, Diagnostics & Therapeutics Section.
We are a collegiate team who work with a range of Academic and Professional Service colleagues to provide high level administrative support.
You will have:
- Relevant experience and success in similar work in administration
- Up-to-date MS Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Sharepoint
- Ability to independently organise activities and events (plus schedules, diaries, meeting arrangements, etc), whilst prioritising a conflicting workload
- Ability to use own initiative and suggest and implement practical and effective solutions, providing high level strategic support to senior managers
- Attention to detail and good written and verbal communication skills
