Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for the position of Research Assistant in the School of Computing.

The Research Assistant is expected to carry out research in designing novel database systems on modern hardware.

The job responsibilities include:

  • Studying and investigating novel approaches for database technologies on modern hardware
  • Work with the research team to devise possible solutions and implement new statistical methodologies as needed

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • A bachelor/master degree in computer science/computing or a related discipline
  • A team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
  • A dynamic individual with innovative, critical, and analytical thinking
  • Demonstrate ability to do research (through course projects or publications)
