Laboratory Introduction

Dr. Chenye Wu is an Assistant Professor, the Presidential Young Fellow, at the School of Science and Engineering, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). Before joining CUHKSZ, he was an Assistant Professor at Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences, Tsinghua University.

Interdisciplinary research is his particular strength and he currently participates actively in two broad areas of "CS/AI+X" type research: 1) AI+Energy Economics, with an emphasis on studying the vulnerability of AI based pricing schemes, limitation of AI with extremely imbalanced sample sets; 2) CS+Urban Systems, i.e., understand many real world phenomenon through computational (very often stochastic) modeling, which covers a broad range, from the sharing economy for the electricity sector, to the optimal online game matchmaking mechanism design.

  1. Conduct research under the supervision of Dr. Chenye Wu
  2. Supervise the research for postgraduate students and undergraduate students

Salary and Fringe Benefits

Salary will be comparable to international standards, commensurate with experience and accomplishments. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-Shenzhen, and employee benefits will be provided according to the relevant labor laws of Mainland China as well as CUHK-Shenzhen regulations.
